INTERN’S TESTIMONIAL
Mr. Yazid Ngasha.
Being part of the team in the study entitled “Water Security Assessment for Ruvu and Coast Catchments in the Wami-Ruvu Basin” was an inspiring experience that strengthened my passion for water resource management and sustainable development.
Ms. Margaret Sima Kironde.
Currently working as an Assistant Lecturer at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST). I had the opportunity to work at NTWAM as an intern for consultancy service for conducting water security scan for Ruvu and Coast catchments in the Wami/Ruvu basin. Working alongside a dedicated team of professionals was something I truly valued, I contributed to research and field activities; I was actively involved in data collection, analysis and report writing, focused on corporate water related risks and mitigation strategies for businesses operating in Dar es Salaam and Coast regions. This experience deepened my understanding of the complex linkages between water quality and quantity and socio-economic development and water for environment. I am truly grateful for the mentorship and guidance I received throughout the internship. It not only strengthened my technical knowledge of water security frameworks but also added my professional network. Overall, this internship was an enriching and transformative experience that equipped me with both professional and personal growth in the field of water security.
